Things to do

Ambalama is a place for both the sedentary and the active and boasts a plethora of ways to do nothing or to keep busy. If wanting a more idle holiday, lying by the pool or relaxing on the terrace in glorious summer sunshine, having a massage, or cosying up on the sofa by a roaring fire with a good book in the colder months, is a lovely way to while away the hours.

The more active may take themselves off walking in the hills, visit a variety of fascinating and historic nearby towns and villages, or drive down to the coast for some fun and feasting on the beach. The area also boasts some superb golf courses and busy, social towns to visit. To cap it all, the area plays host to some of the finest restaurants, with a variety of menus, in Southern Andalucia. These are all on your doorstep so gourmands will also be kept happy.
